PHILLIPS LAYOFF: PHILLIPS TOTAL JOB LAYOFFS to reach 13,000

Amsterdam based company - Phillips is one of the biggest players in consumer electronics. Already in the fourth quarter of 2008, Phillips had announced job layoffs of about 7,000 employees. In addition to this, it has announced to lay an addition 6,000 employees, taking the total job layoffs to 13,000.
